FEBRUARY 2026: EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES & MEDICAL HOUSING IN UGANDA
In 2025, a 19‑year‑old student participating in our education programme nearly lost her life due to the lack of accessible emergency medical care (see April 2025 report). This incident highlighted the urgent need for permanent medical presence at our campus, where more than 300 students and staff — including over 100 preschool children — are present daily.
Emergency care will also be available to residents of nearby villages. The construction of medical housing for an on‑site doctor’s family will ensure continuous availability of medical assistance. The facility is expected to become operational in early April. Ensuring the safety and well‑being of children, students, villagers and staff remains a key priority.
