The Contribute Farm supports both food production and school fees for children of unemployed families. Parents of primary school students work on the farm and are compensated with monthly food packages and payment of school fees.

In Uganda, 54% of the population can afford only one meal per day. Additionally, 30% of children never attend school because their parents cannot pay the required fees. Through this programme, parents receive compensation based on the number of hours worked.

Stop Poverty’s philosophy remains: not giving fish, but providing the fishing rod — and teaching people how to use it.
