On Monday, March 16, the doors of the new Emergency Department were opened. The first patient was a toddler with pneumonia and acute diarrhea. The department has four rooms: an Emergency Room, a room for minor surgeries, a dental room, and a sterilization room. Additionally, an ambulance was purchased for emergency surgeries at the large regional hospital in Jinja. It remains permanently on standby for the clinic.

Caring for babies, toddlers, and children is particularly close to our hearts. After all, 200,000 children aged 0 to 5 die due to a lack of medical care and malnutrition! The opening was gratefully welcomed by the villagers.
