In Uganda, development in the ICT sector is in full swing.
The ICT professional has become indispensable, not only Western society, but also in Uganda. It is a profession of the future. That is why Stop Poverty wants to invest in promising professions. There are two ICT classes training students for the official certificate from the Ministry of Education and sports. Our ICT training program requires a secondary school diploma (S4). Many students have no chance of further education after secondary school because vocational training is too expensive for poor parents.
During the course of the two programs, students are trained in:
- Desktop customer support
- Computer assembly & disassembly
- Computer diagnostics and repair
- Laptop fault detection & repair
- Mobile devices, printers & technology
- Computer graphics
- Computer programming languages
- Network analysis and Advanced network analysis
