The two elderly women, Jessica and Egnesi, who were mentioned in our August news article, underwent various examinations in different hospitals in September. These included a heart condition assessment, a laboratory biopsy for cancer and other conditions, and a surgical examination. The total examination costs across three hospitals amounted to €125. Surgery will cost approximately €275. Additional medication costs are approximately €150 per year for Egnesi. Jessica will not require medication after the surgery, but the expected costs are €125 for a few days in the ICU. These rates indicate that we can help the elderly with very little money. Both women have great difficulty breathing due to the massive throat tumor. Surgery is imminent.
